How we keep neighbours quiet
Every account gets hard limits on CPU, memory, processes and I/O. When one site is hammered, it hits its own ceiling instead of slowing down everyone else on the node. You can see your usage against those limits in the control panel at any time.
What runs on it
- PHP 8.1 through 8.4, switchable per site.
- MariaDB with phpMyAdmin, plus remote access if you enable it.
- Node.js and Python applications through the app manager.
- Cron jobs, SSH on Professional and above, and Git deployments.
Backups
Daily off-node backups with self-service restore. Retention depends on the plan, from seven days on Starter to ninety on Enterprise. Restores never overwrite without a confirmation step.
When to move up
If you are regularly hitting your CPU or memory ceiling, or you need a specific service the platform does not run, a VPS is the honest next step. We will tell you that rather than sell you a bigger shared plan that will not fix it.
