What can be refunded, in what window, and what cannot.
Template text. A working placeholder for the interface. Confirm the windows against your own commercial policy before launch.
| Service | Refund window | What you get back |
|---|---|---|
| Shared and WordPress hosting | 30 days | Full refund, minus any domain registered with it |
| Reseller hosting | 14 days | Full refund |
| VPS | 72 hours | Full refund |
| Dedicated servers | None | Pro-rata credit only where we cannot deliver the agreed specification |
| Domains | None | Registry fees are non-refundable once the registration is made |
| Add-ons and licences | None | Windows and control panel licences are billed by the term |
How to request one
Open a billing ticket from your dashboard with the invoice number and the service. We process approved refunds within five working days, back to the original payment method.
Why dedicated servers are different
A dedicated server is built to your specification and taken out of stock for you. If the machine does not match what you ordered, or we cannot deliver it, you get a full refund. If you simply change your mind after it is racked, we cancel at the end of the term instead.
Service credits
Where we miss an availability commitment on a plan that carries one, credits are applied automatically against the following invoice. You do not need to ask, and you can see the calculation on the invoice line.
Abuse and refunds
Services terminated for breaching the acceptable use policy are not refunded. This is the one place we are strict about it, because the alternative is subsidising abuse.
