What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Template text. A working placeholder for the interface. Have it reviewed against your actual processing before launch.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, company, email, billing address and VAT number.
  • Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We store the last four digits and expiry, never the full number.
  • Service data: what you ordered, where it runs and its configuration.
  • Technical logs: IP addresses, timestamps and request metadata, kept for security and troubleshooting.
  • Support correspondence: tickets and emails you send us.

What we do not collect

We do not read the contents of your servers, databases or mailboxes, and we do not scan customer data for advertising purposes. Engineers access customer systems only when you ask us to, or when a security incident requires it — and access is logged.

Why we process it

  • To provide the service you ordered — performance of a contract.
  • To invoice you and meet tax obligations — legal obligation.
  • To keep the network secure and abuse-free — legitimate interest.
  • To send service notices about outages and maintenance — legitimate interest.

How long we keep it

  • Account and billing records: as long as tax law requires, typically seven years.
  • Technical logs: 90 days, unless retained longer for a specific incident.
  • Support tickets: three years from closure.
  • Closed accounts: service data deleted 30 days after closure.

Sharing

We share data with payment processors, our registrar partners for domains, and facility operators where required for access control. We do not sell personal data. We disclose to authorities only where legally compelled, and tell you unless prohibited.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@offerhost.example. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
