Looking glass
Run reachability and routing queries from inside AS208220. Useful when you need to prove where a problem is rather than guess.
Demo mode. No looking glass daemon is connected, so output is synthetic and clearly marked as such in the transcript. Set LOOKING_GLASS_URL to run real queries against the routers.
Every hop between us and the target
Nothing has been run yet.
Pick a location and a tool, enter a target, then run the test. Results come from the selected location, not from your own connection.
Reading a traceroute
Latency that rises and stays high points at the hop where it rose. Latency that spikes on one hop and drops again is usually the router deprioritising its own ICMP replies, not a real problem.
Asymmetric paths
The route from us to you is not always the route from you to us. When you report a problem, send us a trace in both directions if you can.
What we need in a ticket
Source and destination addresses, a timestamp with timezone, and the raw output. That turns a support conversation into a fix.
