Acceptable use policy

Not permitted, ever

• Child sexual abuse material. Reported to the authorities and terminated without notice.
• Unsolicited bulk email, and hosting infrastructure that supports it.
• Phishing, malware distribution, command-and-control infrastructure and credential harvesting.
• Attacks against other systems, including denial of service, scanning and brute-forcing.
• IP address spoofing, or announcing address space you do not hold.
• Content that infringes copyright, or that is illegal where the server is located.

Network conduct

• Run open resolvers, relays or amplifiers only if they are rate-limited and secured.
• Do not use more bandwidth than your plan includes without agreeing it with us first.
• Keep reverse DNS and WHOIS accurate for addresses assigned to you.
• Publish an abuse contact if you resell or host third parties.

Resource use on shared platforms

Shared and reseller hosting are subject to per-account limits on CPU, memory, processes and I/O. “Unmetered” bandwidth means we do not bill per gigabyte — it does not mean one account may saturate a node. If your usage becomes a problem we contact you and suggest the right product before taking any action.

Reporting abuse

Send reports to abuse@offerhost.example with timestamps including timezone, source and destination addresses, and relevant log excerpts. We acknowledge within one working day, and faster for active attacks. Reports are actioned whether or not you are a customer.

What we do about violations

1. For most issues: we contact you with the evidence and a deadline to fix it.
2. For active harm: we null-route or suspend first, then contact you immediately.
3. For illegal content: we act as the law requires, which may mean no notice.

Suspension is not a punishment, it is containment. We would rather have a conversation and keep you as a customer.
